Art Portfolio Case lost in Hopatcong (NJ) at Personal Car
Lost item: Art Portfolio Case. - Size/Appearance: Large format (approximately 17"x22"), black leather - heavy duty with zippers and a handle. Not sure of the make/brand. - Contents: I can provide photos of contents, if needed. Contains most of my original artwork, including current projects I'm working on and in the process of finishing (like the stone gazebo piece) in the main zippered pouch, and art supplies in the smaller front zippered pouch. In the main pouch there's 2 large drawing pads along with my portfolio that is like a large photo album - It has sleeves where I've inserted charcoal drawings and printed photographs. There's also an additional pouch on the main interior with some more supplies. - Identifying Information: Unfortunately, there's no I.D. in the portfolio that I'm aware of. One or two art pieces are signed. It may also have a few of my J.A. Cinema business cards inside, but doubtful. It means a great deal to me. If by some miracle you find it, please let me know asap. ℹ️ Circumstances of loss: - Circumstance: I believe I may have accidentally left it on the roof of my car while moving items in several locations - in the process of moving. The portfolio was likely lost while driving between the following high-probability areas: 1. Berkshire Valley Storage (across from the Ding Dong Deli in Jefferson, NJ) 2. Ryerson Rd (across from the QuickChek near Exit 28, Hopatcong, NJ) Specifically, I first had it in Jefferson Twp/Oak Ridge at 1:30pm on 11/23/25 at We-Store Storage across from the Ding Dong Deli (high probability area - moved items), then drove Berkshire Valley Rd to 23 South and down to 46 East. Stopped at Calandra's Bakery then looped around to Unique Photo on 46 West and took 80 West to exit 28 for Hopatcong to the QuickChek for gas then went across the street to Ryerson Rd (high probability area - moved items). After that, headed back to 80, but going East to the Rockaway Mall taking exit 35 and parked near the food court to stop in the mall for about a half hour. Alternatively it could have been on my car at the mall when I parked and stolen off of it. Continuing after the mall, I exited passing by Target, Home Depot and Costco to 15 North and down Berkshire from the other end heading back towards the storage and arriving in Cozy Lake community at 6pm. I did also drive to the Bronx early the next morning via Cozy Lake Rd to 23 South to 80 East to the GWB to Henry Hudson Pkwy. I know it wasn't on the roof of my car when I parked at the Montefiore Deck on Rochambeau, not sure about on my way there in the morning (left 6am, arrived 7:10am). I'm hoping if it was on the roof, it came off the evening before rather than the morning of 11/24/25 on my way into NYC from NJ.
