Report my lost item →

Cambridge is a dense, dynamic city where things go missing every day: on the MBTA bus heading to MIT or Harvard, at Logan Airport terminals, in Harvard Square cafes, or on residential streets near Central Square and beyond. When it happens, you're faced with a fragmented puzzle: the police department, MIT Police (if on campus), the transit authority, airport services, and scattered community groups all operate independently. Making the rounds yourself takes hours and relies on hoping the right person found your item and posted it somewhere you'd see.

ReportLost simplifies that. One report to us, and we push your loss to all the relevant official channels and community spaces at once. Better yet, we don't stop there. Our automated surveillance monitors the entire public web, local Facebook groups, Reddit threads, and marketplace listings in real time for weeks or months on end. You describe your item once, and our system works for you behind the scenes, spotting 'found' posts that match yours and alerting you immediately, so you never miss a lead.
